At first, though the writing was excellent, it was heavy going for me because it brought back memories of the Depression when we didn't always have enough to eat. But that was very good for me, because it made me realize even more, how blessed I am with a full cupboard!! The book is a delight, and so very well written. I am sure you will touch many hearts. (I know for sure you have with our Cudahy Seniors Group.) It is such a joy to me to see our "younger generation" so talented and so caring. "The Perfect Pitch" is one of the most inspirational books I've ever read. This book is about life, not just baseball or peanuts. It's about overcoming, persevering, making the best of your talents and opportunities, and staying focused on your goals. It's a great book, well-written and fun to read, for all ages.
